System One is seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team in a decision-making position. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading personnel and processes to optimize company goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all shop safety rules are followed.
- Coordinate daily cell functions to ensure efficient operation of production equipment and maintain product quality.
- Communicate with shift personnel and implement company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Identify potential problems with machinery, molds, and process criteria, and recommend repairs using the blue and red tag system.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems contributing to downtime, inefficiency, and scrap.
- Develop a team spirit with employees and temporary personnel, and motivate individuals to achieve maximum performance.
- Maintain setup sheets and log process changes on jobs during production.
- Direct employees and contract personnel from other departments as required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
