Key Responsibilities

  • Thank customers and maintain customer satisfaction by providing solutions to concerns
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly
  • Pack customer purchases in an organized fashion
  • Keep the work station and surrounding area clean and well-stocked
  • Perform fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
  • Follow all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follow safety policies and procedures

Work Environment

The Ace Hardware Sales Associate works in a fast-paced retail environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires standing, walking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. The associate may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently. The work environment may involve occasional risk of electrical shock, outdoor weather conditions from exterior doors, and chemicals while cleaning.
