Triangle Visions Optometry is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team in Thomasville, NC.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional patient care and deliver top-notch service in our optical department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Match patients with appropriate services, including eye exams, and ensure thorough product knowledge.
  • Assist with fitting glasses and proactively solve issues to provide long-term solutions.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and commit to delivery schedules.
  • Handle sales transactions accurately and follow procedures.
  • Present and educate patients during product pick-up, maintaining a clean and organized practice.
  • Report safety concerns to management and adhere to company policies and attendance requirements.
  • Sell actively on the floor and maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent; AA or BA/BS desired.
  • Strong customer service, basic math, and effective selling skills.
  • 1-3 years prior optical or retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Eye care or sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale and patient record systems.
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Interest in healthcare, fashion, and embracing new technology and change.
  • Strong communicator and listener.
