About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Aluminum Estimator to join our team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for commercial aluminum projects, working closely with our sales team and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and provide pricing for commercial aluminum projects using online estimating software
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure accurate project information and timely project execution
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and technologies to ensure accurate estimating and project execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
  • One or more years of experience estimating in the architectural glass and aluminum industry
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, creative solution, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Microsoft Axapta or ERP-related systems a plus
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD a plus
  • GDS estimating software or related programs a plus
