Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses and laboratory components in biology, participating in curriculum and instruction material development, assessment functions, student advisement responsibilities, registration, recruitment and retention activities, college outreach activities, and college committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses and laboratory components in biology to students at the associate degree level.
  • Participate in the development of curriculum and instruction materials, assessments, and student advisement.
  • Contribute to departmental, division, and college planning sessions to promote the college's mission and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the college administration.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a doctorate or master's degree in the biological sciences or a master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
