Job Title: Histology Technician or equivalent

Location: Near Myerstown, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full-time and permanent

Shift: Days

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Histology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a college degree and be certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Prior experience in histology is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform histology laboratory procedures, including tissue processing, staining, and sectioning
  • Maintain accurate records of patient samples and laboratory results
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic services
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
