Job Summary:

Bon Secours is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a full range of occupational therapy services to patients in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide age-appropriate therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and document progress in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide patient and family education on tasks and resources that support continued functional independence.
  • Participate in discharge planning as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Master's degree program or a qualified four-year Bachelor's degree program approved by ACOTE in collaboration with the AOTA.
  • Hold an applicable and current state license or certification to practice or meet all qualifications to be eligible for traineeship.
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations is desirable.
  • Current BLS certification required or obtained within ninety days of completing new employee orientation.
