Job Overview:

As a Cardiac Care Specialist at Expedient / Southern California Hospital - Hollywood, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients who require continuous monitoring of vital signs and heart rhythms. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, identifying and responding to abnormal readings or changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, perform routine assessments, and provide interventions based on telemetry data to ensure patients' safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and adjust care plans tailored to the needs of patients with cardiac or medical conditions.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
