About the Role:
Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Registered Architect to join our team of design professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality architectural designs and leading projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and design various structures, including buildings and facilities.
• Prepare contract documents for building contractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to review and discuss architectural drawings, providing expert advice and guidance.
• Conduct research on various codes and communicate impacts with the design team and owner.
• Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Manage and monitor project progress, reviewing plans, specs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and documents.
• Conduct site visits to review quality of work and assure conformance to design intent.
Requirements:
• Architectural licensure (NCARB certification is a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Architectural experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
