Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality Control Manager (QCM)/Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO)/Infrastructure Project Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. This exciting role involves working on high-profile construction projects and ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of quality control, safety, and environmental management on construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including those of the Department of Defense (DOD), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC).
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control System (QCS) and Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all safety measures are in place, including fall protection.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other superintendents to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on safety, quality control, and environmental management to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance to site workers on safety protocols and quality control procedures.
  • Respond to any emergencies or incidents on site, ensuring all necessary protocols are followed and reports are filed as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically with government or federal projects.
  • Proven experience in Quality Control Management (QCM), Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) duties, and Superintendent roles.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental management within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in relevant regulations, including those of the DOD, USACE, and NAVFAC.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Control Systems (QCS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Excellent understanding of safety protocols, including fall protection.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and guide site workers.
  • The ability to respond effectively to emergencies and incidents on site.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong focus on ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety at all times.
