- Overview
Southwestern College is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a part-time instructor specializing in Landscape Estimation and Contracting. This role involves teaching the principles and practices necessary for effective landscape project estimation and bidding.
Course DescriptionThe instructor will cover essential topics such as:
- Techniques for accurate landscape estimating
- Understanding blueprints and specifications
- Calculating overhead and profit margins
- Regulatory requirements for landscape contracting
- Business procedures relevant to the industry
This course will be conducted in a face-to-face format, with classes scheduled in the evening.
QualificationsApplicants must possess:
- An Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant occupational experience OR
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) with at least 2 years of directly related experience.
Note: Candidates with foreign degrees must have their credentials evaluated by a recognized professional association.
