Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician IV to join our team at Liberty Packaging in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues to minimize downtime, educating the team on establishing long-term solutions, and performing assigned tasks through an electronic work order system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs, to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
  • Use schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer's instruction manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and identify needs for repairs or replacements of parts.
  • Respond to machine centers or specific equipment to provide real-time assistance, swift diagnosis of critical maintenance issues, and perform repairs.
  • Be a peer coach and subject matter expert to identify long-term solutions with specific maintenance issues, share key learnings to teams and leadership, and follow all state requirements for routine maintenance checks.
  • Assist in installation activities of new equipment in partnership with outside vendors, engineering, production teams, and maintenance leaders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area by following cleaning processes and maintenance inventory management protocols.
  • Follow plant safety processes and procedures outlined for machine centers.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of work experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in all areas of industrial electrical maintenance, mechanical operations, TIG/MIG welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and program logic & controls (PLCs).
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues, reading schematics and blueprints, and using a computer, performing typing, printing, and data entry.
  • Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and previous experience with reading a tape measure.
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
