Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Manager to join our team at AirBorn Inc. This role will be responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing the implementation of new manufacturing processes, primarily for connectors and cable assemblies, while maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing operations
  • Create and communicate project updates and progress to leadership
  • Define and lead Kaizen events to analyze and improve cell KPIs
  • Develop and write effective electronic and manual work instructions
  • Implement and validate new equipment and processes
  • Analyze production trends to develop improvement plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Three plus years of related experience and/or training
  • Technical writing and digital factory connectivity skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Project management skills
Working Conditions

The employee will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and travel is limited to less than 5%.
