Job Title: Mechanical Tolerance Management Team Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Tolerance Management Team Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Agile Hardware Solutions department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the producibility and quality of our mechanical hardware designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed 1D, 2D, and 3D complex dimensional tolerance analyses using various tools to evaluate design requirements of new and existing designs.
  • Apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) on various technical data packages.
  • Contribute to the development and training of the practical application of GD&T, tolerance analysis methods, and tools.
  • Function as a self-starter without appreciable direction or supervision while exercising considerable latitude in determining the strategic objectives and methods of achieving tolerance management goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and 8 years of professional engineering experience.
  • Experience in the application of GD&T principles (IAW ASME Y14.5) and commercial tolerance analysis tools (Siemens visVSA).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
