Senior Surface Warfare Capability Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Surface Warfare Capability Analyst to join our team at Sigma Defense. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide innovative solutions for surface warfare capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of capability assessments across all surface warfare mission areas.
- Identifying, reviewing, and recommending solutions to ensure that all requirements are met and the scope facilitates effective program execution.
- Developing issue papers supporting future requirements to improve advanced training by conducting assessments of investments that compare POM requirements to actual execution and delivery in the applicable budget year.
- Evaluating, assessing, and monitoring unit-level mission area readiness and operational capability through direct observation or indirect analysis of performance metrics to support units' preparation for, and completion of, the advanced training phase.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a qualified Surface Warfare Officer.
- 5+ years of recent experience in technical writing or writing Project Objective Memorandum (POM) issues.
- 3+ years of recent experience in the acquisition community or with the Government's POM process.
- Experience with Combat Systems; its components and instructions.
- Experience with Command and Control issues, regarding surveillance, engagement, and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets.
- Experience as a WTI (AMW or ASW/SUW) qualified officer preferred.
- Experience with Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures.
Clearance Requirements:
You must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field is required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and AD&D coverage, employee assistance program, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, and 160 hours of paid time off with carry-over up to 240 hours.
