Job Summary
The Estimator and Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for creating and managing estimates, as well as coordinating projects from start to finish. This individual will work closely with clients, management, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local area clientele, including insurance adjusters, community business owners, schools, and municipalities.
- Create accurate floor plans using Xactimate Sketch.
- Stay up-to-date with applicable building codes and ensure compliance.
- Manage budgets and address overages as they arise.
- Utilize the BELFOR naming convention for estimates, revised estimates, proposals, change orders, etc.
- Maintain a construction schedule and work with trades and management to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques.
- Participate in continued training with BELFOR University, including Basic Xactimate training and certification.
- Independently manage own work and maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
- Complete all accident, injury, and incident reporting forms in a timely manner.
- Exhibit strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of BELFOR USA Group, Inc. as a World Class company in the industry.
- Comply with company and department policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
