About the Role

The Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Tele unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care that is respectful and responsive to the patient's values in clinical decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive and accurate physical assessments, including pain, skin breakdown, and risk for falls.
  • Identify and prioritize the need for further assessment based on the patient's clinical presentation, diagnosis, care setting, and desire for care.
  • Initiate discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate.
  • Accurately document and maintain patient records.
Requirements
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Completion of Basic EKG interpretation class upon hire.
  • One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility.
