The Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Tele unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care that is respectful and responsive to the patient's values in clinical decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive and accurate physical assessments, including pain, skin breakdown, and risk for falls.
- Identify and prioritize the need for further assessment based on the patient's clinical presentation, diagnosis, care setting, and desire for care.
- Initiate discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate.
- Accurately document and maintain patient records.
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Completion of Basic EKG interpretation class upon hire.
- One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility.
