Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients by providing information, services, and support.
- Confirm patient details by interviewing, documenting medical history, and verifying the purpose of visits.
- Prepare patients for examinations by conducting preliminary physical assessments; measuring blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and summarizing patient history.
- Efficiently handle office tasks, including processing referrals, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with the billing department.
- Safeguard patient information and maintain confidentiality by managing medical records securely.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations.
- Maintain inventory by monitoring supplies, placing orders, and confirming deliveries.
- Ensure equipment functionality by following operational guidelines, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs.
- Protect the practice by complying with professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance the practice's reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.
