Salary Range

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $23.20 and $25.20 per hour, with the final compensation being determined by factors such as experience, education, specialty, and training.



Job Responsibilities

As a dispensing nurse at BAART Program, you will play a crucial role in our treatment team. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Administering daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
  • Maintaining and calibrating dispensing equipment, including automated dispensing systems.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate records and reports as required by company protocol, federal, and state regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Ordering, receiving, and stocking medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Providing daily assessments of patients and assisting nursing supervisors with new staff orientations.
  • Performing other related duties as determined by your supervisor.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:



  • A current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of California. In CA only, a CA license as a Psychiatric Technician may be substituted for nursing license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, with a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
