About the Role

The AES Group is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology consulting company, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and resilient systems using Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and development of software solutions, ensuring they meet the required design constraints.
  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring they meet the required design constraints.
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Requires experience with React, Java/J2EE, and AWS.
  • Proficient in coding in Java languages.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands On experience in Private and Public Cloud Platform like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
