About the Role
Anchor QEA is seeking a highly skilled Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead our coastal engineering projects in the Baltimore, MD area. As a Managing Coastal/Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting civil/environmental engineering projects involving dredging, remedial design, and construction management.

Your Responsibilities
* Serve as the engineer supporting development and design for projects involving dredging, capping, stream restoration, confined disposal facilities, beneficial reuse, beach nourishment, wetland construction, or coastal design concepts.* Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and sub-consultants.* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.* Analyze complex problems and develop value-engineered solutions.

Requirements
* BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering field (coastal, environmental, geotechnical).* 12+ years of relevant work experience as a Coastal, Environmental, or Remediation Engineer.* Experience with dredging, dredged material management, and coastal design, including planning and implementation of sampling, data analysis, feasibility studies, design, and construction. Preference given to candidates with experience in contaminated sediments, capping, and dredging remediation projects.* A Maryland Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year.* Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
