Warehouse Operations Manager

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal utilization of our facilities and managing all capital and other facility and grounds improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, implementation, and continual improvement of operating methods, equipment, systems, and operational infrastructure.
- Oversee and manage production procedures to launch new and optimize process for existing product lines.
- Design and implement packaging equipment and warehouse packaging and labeling to ensure safe, convenient, and attractive transport of products to customers.
- Manage the kaizen and quality circle initiatives for the materials operations group in all assigned locations.
- Develop and manage operating budgets and capital budgets with other leadership team members.
- Perform Human Resources activities, including tracking of time and attendance, associate counseling, scheduling, evaluating work performance, and assisting in skill development.
- Foster high morale and teamwork by supporting the activities of subordinates through daily interaction and one-on-one contact.
Requirements:
- Experience with supply chain and logistics theories and practices.
- Effective communication and diplomacy skills to guide and lead others.
- Strong leadership with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects.
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable information and monitor strategy achievement.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of distribution or warehouse management software systems.
