Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide a personalized shopping experience, offering assistance with products and services, operating a cash register, and handling different payment methods.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards with precision, ensuring a courteous, friendly, and efficient service experience for every customer.
• Meet or exceed individual goals, such as credit and loyalty targets, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Support inventory accuracy by accurately completing point of sale and merchandise disposition practices, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing errors.
• Participate in the training process for new hires, teaching best practices, proper point of sale procedures, and utilizing available tools and resources to meet Kohl's brand standards.
• Engage in daily service processes, including register and cash balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies, to maintain a well-organized and efficient store environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
• No prior retail experience is required, but a flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential for this role.
• Must be 16 years of age or older to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally over 50 pounds with a two-person lift.
• Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
• Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
