Key Responsibilities
  • Examination and Reporting: Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations to create accurate Venous Flow Maps, and provide detailed reports to support treatment plans.
  • Patient Care and Education: Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, and provide education on the importance of vascular health.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to standard time allotments to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure timely patient care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program, and Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification.
  • Skills and Abilities: Cultural sensitivity, excellent patient care skills, and ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
