Fabrication Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our dynamic team at PeopleShare. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for manipulating metal materials to meet custom work orders, meeting and exceeding deadlines, and producing parts that meet and exceed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manipulate metal materials per custom work orders.
  • Meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks.
  • Produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards.
  • Set up and operate various machinery properly and safely.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training.
  • High School Degree or GED equivalent.
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend written and verbal instructions, including blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic math.
