We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at the New York State Department of Transportation. As a key member of our Regional Construction Group, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise consultant and/or State forces to ensure successful project execution
- Manage construction activities to meet contract requirements and regulatory standards
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with regional construction engineers to develop and implement project plans
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local Laws, Rules, and Regulations
To be considered for this role, you must have a New York State Professional Engineer's license and current registration, as well as a qualifying bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Alternatively, you may have a New York State Professional Engineer's license and current registration, along with one year of full-time qualifying engineering experience.
