TRS Craft Services is actively seeking Class B CDL Truck Operators to join our team. This role is based in San Antonio, TX, and involves the safe transportation of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Participate in daily safety briefings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Be flexible with work hours to accommodate project demands, including nights and weekends.
- Work effectively in varying weather conditions.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction sector.
- Strong dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating trucks and related equipment, including but not limited to: End dump, Belly dump, Tandem, Flow boy, or Super dump.
- Experience with off-road driving in construction settings.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Compliance with safety standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook and applicable regulations.
- Possession of a valid Class B driver's license.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements.
- Ability to secure heavy and oversized loads properly.
Work Schedule:
Standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for Saturday shifts in the future.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
