Occupational Therapy Assistant

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Clovis, NM.
In this role, you will collaborate with an Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapy services to students, empowering them to enhance their daily living and academic skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, guiding students through exercises and activities designed to improve their motor skills, cognitive abilities, and overall functional independence.
- Meticulously monitor and document student progress, providing comprehensive reports on their achievements and areas requiring further attention.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals involved in the student's care plan.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Possess an Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Hold a current COTA certification in good standing.
- Maintain active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow.
