Assembler II Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Assembler to join our team at HEICO. This role involves assembling various components into small to medium-sized aircraft assemblies using blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components without nonconformities by utilizing travelers and work instructions
  • Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and schematics
  • Employ the use of fabrication and assembly tools, such as rivet guns, drills, pneumatic grinders, and bucking bars
  • Use various hardware, including shear pins, rivets, hi-locs, Cleco, and safety wire
  • Operate shop equipment safely
  • Assist in other areas as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A & P license and certified in rotopeen repairs and cold working (preferred)
Key Skills:
  • Basic computer software skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Knowledge of assembly and fabrication equipment
Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year
