Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking a part-time Gymnastics Instructor I to join our team at the Naperville Park District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing introductory through intermediate level gymnastics instruction to participants of various ages and skill levels.

• Lead and monitor small groups of participants in gymnastics activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of fundamental gymnastics skills, adapting to the needs of participants.
• Inspect and secure gymnastics equipment, maintaining a high level of safety and organization.
• Assume responsibility for participants until released to a parent or designated caregiver, maintaining awareness of each participant's needs.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to achieve program goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.

• Prior experience in gymnastics is preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification is a must, and the ability to obtain it within six weeks of hire is a requirement.
• Must be at least 14 years old and able to provide a work permit if under 16 years old.
• Subject to modified/flexible work schedule, with the ability to position, manipulate, and shape participants with weights ranging from pounds.
