Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug platform software, including EUFI, firmware, operating systems, drivers, and utilities for point-of-sale hardware products.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to understand and define system requirements.
  • Coordinate and engage in the development of combined hardware/software solutions with internal and external engineering groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Operating systems and firmware development expertise.
  • Proficient in Linux, Android, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Linux driver development, Linux application development, Android driver development, Android application development, and Microsoft Windows application development.
  • Firmware development skills, including MCU firmware development and UEFI development.
  • Strong background in secure development practices, including secure design reviews, architecture risk analysis, code scans, security test plans, and security guides creation.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. Candidates are typically placed into this range based on their experience, knowledge, and location. The role may be eligible for bonus and equity opportunities.
