Position Title: Pump Performance Testing Specialist
Role Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct thorough testing of various pump models and systems, ensuring compliance with both customer expectations and industry standards. The range of pump units includes agricultural pumps, fire suppression pumps, oil rig pumps, and systems utilized in nuclear energy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute testing protocols for all manufactured pumps and systems according to customer specifications and sales agreements.
- Guarantee precise and timely testing of pumps to adhere to established standards and requirements.
- Analyze assembly schematics and documentation to facilitate accurate testing setups.
- Prioritize safety measures and adhere to safety regulations and policies.
- Evaluate customer data against order specifications and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor testing processes throughout their duration, recording measurements and identifying any nonconformance.
- Calibrate pressure measuring instruments and provide assistance to engineers and plant personnel.
- Comply with ISO standards and quality requirements as outlined in the Quality Procedures Manual.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field or testing laboratory environment.
- An Associate's Degree in Industrial Technology or a related discipline.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment: This role demands physical effort, including lifting heavy items and working in proximity to moving machinery. Adherence to personal protective equipment guidelines and safety protocols is essential.
Position Type: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
