Master Shipcraftsman

RSC Energy is seeking a skilled Master Shipcraftsman to join their team for a long-term project in Pascagoula, MS.

This position offers competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and referral incentives.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience as a 1st Class Shipfitter.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Performing stick & flux core tack welding, oxy Acetylene Burning Torch operations, and other shipfitting tasks.
• Passing a written test and successfully completing a 1st Class Skill Test.

In addition, the selected candidate must pass a background check and drug test, and be willing to work any shift or overtime as required.

The compensation package includes:

• A competitive hourly rate of $28.50 (day shift) and $30.50 (night shift).
• A one-time sign-on bonus of $500.
• Referral incentives for eligible candidates.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a minimum of 3 years' experience as a 1st Class Shipfitter.
• Have a strong understanding of blueprints and shipfitting procedures.
• Be proficient in stick & flux core tack welding, oxy Acetylene Burning Torch operations, and other relevant skills.
