Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Grapevine, TX. This role focuses on creating, optimizing, and managing processes related to the refurbishment of our filtered water systems, including bottleless water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewers.

The primary objective of this position is to apply Lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and other continuous improvement methodologies, to establish a center of excellence within our Grapevine facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for product refurbishment.
  • Lead initiatives to adopt Lean manufacturing techniques, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Kanban, to enhance refurbishment operations.
  • Continuously assess and refine existing processes to boost productivity, minimize waste, and elevate product quality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
  • Train and mentor production personnel on both new and existing processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Six Sigma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in refurbishment or remanufacturing settings.
  • Professional experience in the HVAC/R field is preferred.
  • Reliable, energetic, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Ability to think critically and learn quickly with minimal supervision.
  • Disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of achieving team objectives.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
