A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse Pre-Post/PainAs a Registered Nurse in our surgery centers, you will work in the pre-operative area and recovery room to provide expert professional nursing care for our patients during the pre- and post-operative course.
You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, monitoring their condition, and administering sedation when necessary.
You will also assist physicians during procedures and discharge patients when criteria are met.
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse Pre-Post/Pain- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure or the ability to apply
- Ability to communicate effectively and work compatibly with all physicians and staff
- Ability to make quick assessments of patients and handle emergency situations appropriately
- CPR and ACLS certification
This position requires working Monday through Friday during hours that patients are in the surgery center.
Hours vary depending on the surgery schedule.
