At ConGlobal, we're seeking a skilled Intermodal Equipment Operator to join our team in Edgerton, Kansas. As a vital member of our intermodal operations, you'll play a crucial role in loading, unloading, and moving shipping containers using a range of tools and equipment.

About the Role:

As an Intermodal Equipment Operator, you'll be responsible for assisting intermodal yards in loading, unloading, and moving shipping containers. You'll have opportunities to drive hostlers and/or move containers with cranes, top loaders, and side loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload shipping containers using various tools and equipment
  • Operate hostlers and other equipment to move containers
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet the needs of our customers

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to always follow safety requirements and practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars
