Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for the operations of the clinical activities of the Wound Management and Limb Preservation department at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. In collaboration with the Medical Director, this position holds responsibilities for coordination of clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standards and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient population served
- Improve clinical practice through staff and patient education and a multidisciplinary collaborative approach
- Coordinate clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff in the Wound Management and Limb Preservation department
Requirements:
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years Wound Care clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum 1 year experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
