Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Woodlands Specialty Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.
  • Position radiologic equipment and take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations.
  • Perform related administrative duties, including completing necessary forms and maintaining procedure logs.
  • Retrieve radiologic orders from and input related data into the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain adequate radiologic supplies and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification (or equivalent) and state licensure in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • CPR certification and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
