About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Arkansas Children's, specializing in Apheresis. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the advancement of pediatric nursing practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves assessing patients, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and educational needs, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care, incorporating family-centered approaches and interprofessional collaboration.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless transitions and optimize patient flow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and organizational excellence.
Requirements
  • DNP or MSN degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in AR or compact state.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatrics, preferably in Apheresis or related field.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and prioritize multiple tasks.
