We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our team at a regional federally qualified health center in Northeast North Carolina. This is a permanent position with competitive salaries and benefits. The successful candidate will work four 10-hour days per week, typically Tuesday through Friday.
The health center offers state-of-the-art dental equipment, including digital imaging and eClinicalWorks electronic dental records and practice management. The dentist will have a mix of adult and pediatric patients and will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care.
The position comes with a signing bonus and relocation assistance, as well as an annual CDE allowance of up to $3000 and up to 40 hours. Malpractice insurance is covered through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) coverage. The health center also offers a 403(b) retirement plan with an employer contribution starting at 2 years, as well as reimbursement for professional fees and dues.
As an FQHC with a Dental HPSA score of 25, this position qualifies for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program, S2S, and Scholars. Additionally, candidates with no loans may be eligible for the state of NC's High Needs Service Bonus program.
