Insurance Customer Service Representative (Personal Lines)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Generate insurance quotes for a range of personal lines coverages utilizing FSC rating software and other specific insurance company rating tools.
  2. Guide and support members in making informed coverage choices tailored to their unique requirements.
  3. Make underwriting and policy placement choices aligned with customer needs and the insurance company's standards.
  4. Complete applications for new business, manage endorsements, and maintain accurate suspense files.
  5. Address inquiries from insurance carriers and respond to customer/member questions or concerns promptly.
  6. Conduct annual reviews of existing member policies to evaluate coverage and provide recommendations.
  7. Proactively seek new prospects to enhance sales in accordance with the marketing strategy.
  8. Execute additional tasks as directed by management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Agency Management Systems (Hawksoft).
