Job Overview

North East Weathered Services LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our snow removal crew as a Snow Removal Crew Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from designated areas, ensuring safe and accessible pathways for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear Snow and Ice: Shovel snow from designated areas, ensuring clear and safe pathways for our clients.
  • Apply De-icing Materials: Apply salt or brine to prevent ice buildup and maintain safety.
  • Follow Pre-programmed Route: Follow a pre-programmed route to service at +/-100 locations, each ranging from 50 to 100 square feet.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with the foreman and other crew members.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Be available 24 hours a day, responding promptly to work calls during snow events and for occasional post-storm clearing.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
Qualifications
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to work on-call as required.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold and snow.
  • Manual Labor: Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and shoveling snow.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in snow removal or similar work is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical Tasks: Capable of shoveling snow and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Outdoor Work: Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
