About the Role

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center Director to lead our team at Twin Cities Surgery Center in Festus, MO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the facility to ensure efficient provision of surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Plan for the services provided by the facility and the operation of the facility, including the development and implementation of a sales/marketing plan and the lead of the facility's sales team.
  • Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and control the staffing needs, operations budget, and capital budget, ensuring compliance with USPI's policies and procedures as related to internal controls.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, including the administration of the infection control program and medical staff review of the quality improvement program.
  • Human Resources: Manage exempt and non-exempt employees in accordance with the facility policies, utilizing sound principles of practice and fairness, and develop and ensure compliance with appropriate departmental policy and procedure manuals for use by the staff.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop, evaluate, and promote implementation of a continuous quality improvement program, including the identification and correction of quality care issues and the development of statistical indicators to use in evaluating the overall operations and quality of care provided.
  • Medical Staff Relationships: Process the credentialing of practitioners of the facility, collaborate with the Medical Director in the review and revision of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations, and promote positive relationships between employees and practitioners.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a nursing or Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in a top administrative or management position in the health care field.
  • Skills: Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and the ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
