Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you will assist in planning and preparing tax returns for clients across various industries, including Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. You will also develop tax compliance knowledge and assist with IRS audits, tax notice response, trust returns, gift and estate returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain an understanding of tax laws and regulations and assist in planning multiple tax assignments
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and individuals
  • Develop tax compliance knowledge and assist with IRS audits, tax notice response, trust returns, gift and estate returns
  • Prepare compilations, reviews, and audits for clients across multiple industries
  • Participate in client assignments from beginning to end
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
  • CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and tax project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently, and problem-solve in a results-driven team-oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
