Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our aircraft-related production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in production equipment.
  2. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues.
  3. Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it operates within specified specifications.
  4. Set up and calibrate production equipment as scheduled.
  5. Enter maintenance data into our CMMS system for machine reliability and control.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. 3 years of experience in electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment.
  3. 2-year technical degree may offset one year of experience.
  4. Ability to work any shift.
  5. Background in CNC equipment and GSE equipment a plus.
  6. Must be able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  7. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  8. Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automation systems.
  9. Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments a plus.
  10. Experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and preventive maintenance preferred.
