Job Description

This Medical Laboratory Professional will be responsible for performing various analyses from multiple specimen sources, providing the highest level of patient care, and maximizing patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or related field and certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and report various analyses from multiple specimen sources.
  • Provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain an expected level of productivity and manage multiple work processes efficiently.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner and handle specimens properly.
  • Confirm identification and specimen suitability, and use appropriate accessioning procedures.
  • Recognize discrepancies on patient orders and resolve and report problems and solutions as appropriate.
  • Perform and record instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
