As a Senior HVAC Installation Supervisor, you will take the lead of your installation team. After receiving guidance from the Installation Manager, you will be responsible for directing your team members and ensuring the successful execution of installation projects. You will actively participate in hands-on installation of a diverse array of HVAC systems, ensuring that every installation meets the high standards of Schagrin Home Comfort Products while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Objectives
Your primary goal will be to plan, service, layout, repair, and install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, along with other related products. You will also maintain and operate shop tools and equipment, striving to perform quality work efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
- Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in compliance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Work independently to install HVAC systems in residential settings.
- Design, fabricate, and install various ductwork and fittings as necessary.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Adhere to established procedures to ensure timely project completion.
- Instruct and mentor junior team members assisting on-site.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Represent Schagrin Home Comfort Products professionally at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC components and their functions.
- Must provide personal basic hand tools.
- Capable of working in various environments, including outdoor settings and confined spaces.
- Physically fit to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, walking, and climbing.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively.
- Universal EPA refrigerant certification is required.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure and compute dimensions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Compliance with SchagrinGAS drug testing policies.
- Willingness to arrive punctually and demonstrate motivation in daily tasks.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and work variable hours as needed.
- May be required to participate in an on-call rotation once trained, with availability for after-hours communication.
