About the Role

The Certified Surgical Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and making decisions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
