Your Role

This position offers a unique chance to work alongside a remarkable group of professionals and contribute to the evolution of the construction industry.

We are in search of a Staff Software Engineer who is eager to engage in both front-end and full-stack development of our applications, focusing on the design and implementation of new features and products tailored for our clients.

Technical Environment

Our technology stack includes React for web front-end development and React-Native for mobile applications (iOS/Android), complemented by a serverless backend utilizing Google Cloud Platform and Typescript.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and innovative software solutions that simplify financial and accounting tasks for our clients, which include both mid-sized and large construction enterprises.
  • Create industry-leading tools in close collaboration with our customers, engineering team, and business stakeholders.
  • Produce scalable software capable of efficiently managing the substantial data volumes present on our platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Self-driven and passionate about crafting exceptional software.
  • Proven ability to independently transform concepts into fully functional, customer-facing software with minimal guidance from design or product teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of expertise in React and/or React-Native.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in a statically typed programming language, preferably Java or Typescript.
  • Willingness to work in the Seattle office at least once a week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Background in fintech or payment processing.
