Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Covenant Living Communities. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve a positive dining experience for residents.
• Perform daily tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing kitchen equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• One year of food service experience in an institutional setting.
• Current state sanitation certificate.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Ability to perform math to adjust recipes and convert measurements.
